ZZZ Read It! — Offline OCR App for Japanese (Vertical/Horizontal) and English Take a photo of a book or receipt with your camera to convert the text into digital text. Both the captured image and the recognition results are processed entirely on your device. No images or text are ever sent to the cloud. This app is ideal for those who value privacy or need to use it in areas with weak signal reception. ◆ Supported Languages and Characters ◆ This app’s OCR can only recognize the following: ・Japanese — 7,141 characters (NDLmoji character set), including vertical and horizontal writing, modern Japanese, classical Japanese (historical documents), and cursive script (handwriting) ・English — Basic Latin alphabet (A-Z / a-z) + numbers + common symbols Other writing systems, such as Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Korean (Hangul), Cyrillic, and Arabic, are not supported. Accented Latin characters (e.g., é, ñ, ü) are also not recognized.
