Stop guessing how many prayers you owe. Zimem DERIVES your missed prayer and fasting debt from your date of birth and the periods you declare, using established jurisprudential rules - and it shows an honest range, never a single false-precise number. Then it splits that range into a few seconds of work per day. HOW IT WORKS • Three questions, thirty seconds: year of birth, gender, the age you started praying regularly. • The result screen shows your debt per prayer as a range, plus the assumptions behind it. • Every assumption is editable in one tap. The more you correct, the narrower the range. • Add travel, illness, menstruation and postpartum periods and the calculation sharpens. WHY A RANGE, NOT ONE NUMBER Nobody remembers the exact day they reached puberty. Pretending otherwise and showing a four-digit certainty is both wrong and paralysing. Zimem never hides uncertainty: it tells you what it does not know, shows the low and high end, and narrows the band as you refine your answers. IT APPLIES RULES, IT DOES NOT ISSUE RULINGS Zimem gives no fatwa. It applies established rules - each one cited in the app - to the facts you declare, and does the arithmetic. Under every result you get the reasoning chain: which rule, from which source, at which step. Where the schools of law disagree, the disagreement is shown on the same screen rather than resolved silently. No ruling enters the engine without a citable source; that link is checked automatically on every build. FOR WOMEN Menstruation and postpartum days are deducted from the prayer debt and recorded as fasting make-up days. School-specific maximum durations are applied. The app asks when your cycles ended and stops deducting from that date on. The accuracy of this calculation is ALWAYS FREE.
