Zaksha helps families keep the internet age-appropriate — filtering handled at the network level and managed by a parent. This app runs on the device you want to protect. A parent sets it up from the Zaksha dashboard, then this app applies safe DNS filtering to the device — on Wi-Fi and on cellular data. Because filtering works through the device's DNS settings, it keeps working across every app and network, not just one browser. HOW IT WORKS - A parent adds this device from the Zaksha dashboard and shares a short pairing code. - Enter the code in this app to connect it to the family account. - Approve the Zaksha DNS setting when prompted - filtering starts right away. - The parent chooses what to filter - categories, specific sites, schedules - from the dashboard. WHAT IT DOES - Applies the family's content filtering to this device. - Keeps working on any network the device joins. - Shows the device's protection status. - Lets a parent know if filtering is switched off, so it can be turned back on. If the DNS setting is switched off, Zaksha pauses the apps the parent chose during setup until it's turned back on, and notifies the parent. This is Tamper Lock; it uses Screen Time, which is set up when the device is added. Zaksha does not read your messages or the content of your browsing — filtering decisions are made at Zaksha's DNS servers. Zaksha is a companion to the Zaksha service at zaksha.com, where a parent manages the family account, devices and rules.
