Zahor calculates the azkara date of your loved ones in the Hebrew calendar and notifies you every year, without you having to think about it. An azkara—yahrzeit, hazkara, or nahala, depending on your tradition—shifts each year in the civil calendar. You only need to record the date of death once: Zahor calculates the corresponding Hebrew date, manages leap years and their two Adar months, and reminds you of the anniversary as the day approaches. A MEMORIAL FOR EACH LOVED ONE Create a page for each loved one: first name, Hebrew name, photo, and the memories you wish to preserve. Write freely, or let a few questions guide you to convey what matters—their voice, a recipe, a phrase they used to repeat.
