Store description excerpt

ZAD is an app you open to find what carries you through the day: a zikir you count with a tap, the call to prayer arriving on time in a voice you chose, a recitation that picks up where you left it, and a breath to settle on. No account, no advertising, no subscriptions. Most of it works with the network off. ADHKAR The whole of Hisn al-Muslim across eight categories: morning and evening remembrances, the adhkar of prayer, sleep and waking, tasbeeh, a daily portion of Quran, and the supplications of the prophets. Tap the card and it counts for you, and every text is held on the device so it opens without a connection. PRAYER TIMES AND THE ATHAN Seven muezzins to choose between, among them Mahmoud Al-Husary, Abdul Basit Abdus-Samad, Mustafa Ismail and Sayed An-Naqshbandi. The athan reaches you on time even with the app closed, and you choose which prayers you want to be called for, or a silent alert instead. You pick your city and the calculation method used where you live. The app never asks for your location. QURAN Continuous recitation that follows the ayah with its audio, and returns you to the surah and ayah you left when you open the app again. Several reciters, and a small player bar that follows you between screens so nothing stops when you move around. ANFAS Seventeen breaths drawn from the sounds of the natural world, for when you need to slow down. ZAD — VOICE SEARCH Recite an ayah aloud and the app finds the verse and opens it in its place in the mushaf. APPEARANCE Three themes: mint, light and dark. YOUR PRIVACY No accounts, no tracking, no analytics, no advertising. Everything you choose is stored on your device alone, and there is no server of ours that receives anything from you. Privacy policy: https://zad.emadrashad.org/privacy Support: https://zad.emadrashad.org/support ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE DISCLOSURE (ANDROID) ZAD uses Android's Accessibility Service for one purpose only: the optional "Prayer lock" feature. When you turn it on and pick apps, the service detects that one of the apps you chose was opened during prayer time, so ZAD can show its lock screen until you mark the prayer as prayed. The service does not read screen content and does not collect, store or transmit any data. The feature is off by default, and you can disable the service at any time from Settings → Accessibility → ZAD.
