If something happened to you tonight, who would notice, and how long would it take? Your Coucou is a gentle daily check-in for people who value their independence, and for the people who care about them. Your Coucou gives users a simple routine each day. Respond to your Coucou and carry on with your day. If something is not right, the trusted people you have chosen will be alerted. No cameras. No constant tracking. Nobody phoning you every morning to make sure. ## How Coucou works Your Morning Coucou arrives at a time you choose. One tap feeds your bird and confirms that your day has started. If you do not respond, Coucou sends reminders. If those reminders are still unanswered, your chosen Safe People are notified so they can check on you. Later, your Afternoon Coucou asks how your day is going, how you are feeling. Choose the mood that best reflects your day. If your response suggests that you could use some support, Coucou lets your Safe People know that a call or message might be welcome. Your Goodnight Coucou brings the day to a close with a small message from your bird. ## Help when you need it If you need help straight away, the SOS button alerts your Safe People to get in touch urgently and, when selected, shares your location with them. Your Safe People are the family members, friends, neighbours or other trusted people you choose. They do not need to monitor Coucou throughout the day. Coucou lets them know when their attention may be needed. ## Designed around independence Coucou is for ordinary days when everything is fine, and for the day when it might not be. It can be useful for: • Anyone living alone • People whose family or friends live far away • Students living away from home for the first time • Anyone who wants reassurance without being watched • Families who want to know someone they care about is okay Coucou is privacy-first. It is not designed to constantly track your movements or watch what you are doing. Your daily check-in remains small and simple. ## A little bird with an important job “Coucou” is a warm, informal French way of saying hello and making your presence known. Each time you respond, you are quietly saying: “I’m here. I’m okay.” You look after the bird. The bird looks after you.
