You Are a Geologist turns California’s Sierra Nevada into an interactive earth-science field expedition. Create a field researcher and explore giant-sequoia groves while learning how granite, water, soil, roots, fungi, bacteria, glaciers, and climate shape the critical zone. FIELD WORK THAT REWARDS CURIOSITY • Explore eight distinctive sequoia-grove field sites • Investigate rocks, soils, streams, roots, and mineral clues • Descend underground into grove-specific critical-zone profiles • Choose a mycorrhizal fungus or soil bacterium role • Record surface and underground discoveries in your field log • Complete story choices, quizzes, awards, and a field mini-game • Invite one other geologist to a private two-minute grove challenge • Compare specimen and quiz scores, earn wins, and climb the Community ladder • Use the field guide and geology-concepts library to go deeper BUILT FOR LEARNING The app presents geology and forest ecology through short observations, missions, and interactive scenes. On iPhone and iPad, a private anonymous account saves progress and enables multiplayer without asking for your name or email address. Account deletion is available immediately in Settings. COMMUNITY FIELD CHALLENGES Create a six-character invitation code for one other geologist. Once accepted, both players enter the same grove for a synchronized two-minute specimen race followed by five geology questions. Specimens and correct answers build the match score; wins earn ladder points on the Community leaderboard. The leaderboard uses only automatically generated field aliases—there is no public chat and no personal contact information. Four groves are available free. Optional Monthly, Annual, or Lifetime Premium access unlocks all eight groves and future premium grove scenes. Payment is handled by Apple. Restore Purchases is available in Settings.
