YOUR BACKYARD LEAGUE, ORGANIZED Yard Fantasy League turns your regular pickup games into a structured fantasy competition. Create player cards for your group, form fantasy squads, play your real matches, enter the stats afterward, and let the app handle the math. Season standings update automatically after every confirmed round. Everything runs on one device with no accounts, no internet, and no server. CREATE YOUR PLAYERS Add each person in your group as a player card with a nickname, position — goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, forward, or universal — shirt number, and team color. No real names or photos needed. Activate or deactivate players between rounds as availability changes. BUILD FANTASY SQUADS Each squad needs exactly five starters: one per position. Add up to two substitutes and pick one starter as captain. The captain's points are doubled at the end of each round. Swap a starter for a substitute any time before confirming the round. The app validates every squad before saving — missing positions or duplicate entries are flagged immediately. ENTER STATS, GET POINTS After each real match, enter every player's stats manually: goals, assists, saves, cards, own goals, missed penalties, clean sheets, and player of the match. The app calculates individual points based on the season's scoring rules, applies the captain multiplier, totals each squad's score, and ranks the round. CONFIRM AND LOCK Review the full breakdown before confirming. Once confirmed, the round results are final — points, positions, and the season table update and lock in place. Draft rounds can be edited freely before confirmation. SEASON STANDINGS The standings screen shows cumulative points, rounds played, and current positions across the full season. Tap any past round to review its detailed results. Archive a completed season to keep its history and start a fresh one with new rules if you want. SCORING RULES Default values cover participation, goals, assists, clean sheets, saves, cards, own goals, missed penalties, player of the match, and the captain multiplier. Customize any value before confirming the first round of a season. After that, rules are locked for the remainder of that season to keep it consistent.
