LIVE FEEDBACK AT A GLANCE See your current words per minute, a live microphone waveform and whether the reading is still warming up. Choose your presentation language, microphone and personal pace limit before you start. A WARNING YOU CANNOT MISS Once WordPace has enough speech for a reliable reading, the whole screen turns red when you exceed your limit. Your iPhone can also tap once or play a sound, so you do not have to stare at the number. The warning clears when you slow down or stop speaking. MEASURES SPEAKING, NOT SILENCE WordPace reports articulation rate — words per minute of real speaking time. Natural pauses are excluded instead of making your pace look artificially slow. A sliding twenty-second window keeps the reading focused on how you are speaking now. REVIEW EACH SESSION When you stop, an in-memory recap shows duration, average and peak pace, time within your limit, warning count and a timeline. The recap is not saved after you dismiss it. YOUR SPEECH STAYS ON YOUR IPHONE Speech recognition runs entirely on-device. No audio is recorded. No transcript or session history is stored, and no speech or measurement results are sent anywhere. Only your settings remain after you close WordPace. Requires iOS 26 or later.
