Store description excerpt

Wordnauts is a word-guessing game your kid will actually want to play — and you can hand them the device without a second thought. Each round, your child guesses a secret word letter by letter. Tiles light up gold when a letter lands in the right spot, blue when it's in the word but elsewhere, and stay dark when it's not. One color legend across every world means kids learn it once and never relearn it. A quick hands-on tutorial teaches the colors, letter-dragging, and power-ups right on the first word. ▸ SIX THEMED WORLDS Animal Kingdom, Kitchen Counter, Nature Trail, Star Mission, Around the House, and Sight Word School. Each has its own hand-drawn paper-art world and its own word collection. (Worlds can vary a little by grade level.) ▸ FIVE GRADE LEVELS, TUNED GRADE BY GRADE Kindergarten through 4th grade. Words, hints, and definitions are tuned grade by grade using teacher personas we built for each level — not a one-size-fits-all list. Switch grades anytime; each grade keeps its own progress. ▸ HINTS WHEN THEY NEED THEM Up to three optional text hints appear after a few wrong tries, controlled by a toggle in the player's profile. Words are read aloud on the results screen and in the mini-games, so early readers can follow along. ▸ POWER-UPS, NOT PRESSURE Freebie reveals one letter. Zap clears three wrong letters from the keyboard. No timers in the word game, no notifications, no pressure to come back. ▸ ARCADE MINI-GAMES (ON BY DEFAULT, PARENT-CONTROLLED) Three spelling arcades: Astro Dash (catch falling letters with your rocket), Kroi's Animal Collector (herd animals into their pens), and Kitchen Quest (run and jump to collect letters). Free and unlimited, with no ads or purchases. Setup asks whether you want them on, and a grown-up can switch them off in Settings at any time. When they're on, each arcade opens up as your child solves words and earns points. ▸ PRACTICE, NOT JUST PUZZLES Word Scrambler, Clue Quest, and Sky's Shop let kids unscramble letters and spell words at their own pace. Always available, no stars required. ▸ BUILT FOR THE KIDS CATEGORY No ads. No tracking. No third-party SDKs. No accounts. We don't collect any personal data. A math gate protects player edits, settings changes, and every link out of the app. Mini-games can be switched off by a parent at setup or in Settings. ▸ MULTIPLE KIDS, ONE DEVICE Up to six local players per device, each with their own grade level, avatar, and progress. Pass-the-iPad and sibling play just work. WHO IT'S FOR Kids in kindergarten through 4th grade who are learning to read or building vocabulary. Parents and grandparents who want a relaxed word game alongside a kid. Teachers looking for a calm classroom tool. WHO IT'S NOT FOR Anyone wanting leaderboards, in-app purchases, or pressure to come back. We don't do any of that. MADE WITH MY KIDS, FOR KIDS LIKE YOURS Wordnauts started as a way to help my own kids — Sky and Dash — practice sight words without pop-ups, ads, or noisy
