WordLink is a daily word ladder. Change one letter at a time and turn the start word into the goal word — in as few moves as you can. Two fresh puzzles every day: a 4-letter ladder and a 5-letter ladder. Every rung has to be a real word, you can't reuse a word you've already used, and every puzzle has an "optimal" number of moves. Hitting it is the whole game. COLD → CORD → WORD → WARD → WARM Then take it worldwide. Solving close to optimal earns season points — a perfect solve is worth the most — plus a bonus for finishing both of the day's puzzles and a bonus for keeping a daily streak alive. Seasons run for one calendar month, so the board wipes and everybody starts level on the 1st. There's an All-Time board and a Today board too. Word ladders were invented by Lewis Carroll in 1877. This is that puzzle, with a new one every single day.
