One small, calm puzzle a day. Wordful is a daily word search for people who want five quiet minutes rather than another game competing for their attention. Seven themed words sit hidden in a 10x10 grid. Find them, and you are done for the day. No account, no ads, no timer counting down at you, and nothing that needs an internet connection. EVERYONE GETS THE SAME PUZZLE The grid is seeded by the date, so anyone playing on a given day is looking for the same seven words you are. Yesterday's puzzle stays open for one more day, so a busy evening does not cost you the run. SIXTEEN THEMES, ROTATING Presence, Gratitude, Stillness, Wonder, Kindness, Patience, Courage, Rest, Nature, Water, Morning, Evening, Home, Simplicity, Solitude, Journey. Every day takes its words from one of them, so what you are reading in the grid is never only letters. One word from the day turns up on the card you can share afterwards. A GENTLER KIND OF STREAK The streak has a rest day built into it once a week, so missing a single day will not end a long run. Alongside it there is a completion calendar and a running count of quiet minutes: time given, rather than time left. Milestones arrive at 7, 30, 100 and 365 days, and each one is a line of text rather than a burst of confetti. HINTS THAT NUDGE, NEVER SOLVE When a word will not come, tap it and one more letter appears. Tap again for the next. Nothing gets filled in for you, and asking costs you nothing. FIRST TIME PLAYING A four-step walkthrough opens on first launch and puts the gesture in your hand on a practice grid instead of describing it. Skip it if you would rather, or find it again later under Settings > How to play. MADE TO BE LEFT ALONE Wordful has no account, no login, no ads, no analytics and no in-app purchases, and it makes no network calls of its own. Your progress stays on the device and nothing about you is collected. Both the privacy policy and the terms are readable offline inside Settings. There is an optional daily reminder, off until you turn it on. Four color schemes (dawn, sage, twilight and a dark midnight), an auto scheme that follows the clock, and a larger-letters setting for easier reading. A BREATH, THEN THE RESULT One slow breath sits between your last found word and the results screen. Tap to skip past it. With Reduce Motion switched on, it is skipped for you. IF YOU LIKE Word searches, word find puzzles, word games, crosswords, brain games and puzzle games, but you would take one calm daily challenge over an endless feed of levels, lives and adverts, this one is built for you. It works offline: on a plane, in a waiting room, in bed. Finish the grid, save the result to Photos or send it through the share sheet, and go back to your day. Five minutes, once a day.
