Word Darts is a word game that combines word building with the excitement and rules of darts. Create words on the board, score points for letters, bonuses and crosswords, then subtract your score from your remaining total. To win a round, you must reach exactly zero. Scoring more than the number you have left results in a bust and you lose your turn. The game offers two distinct ways to play. In Classic Mode, players make one move per turn, so every decision matters. In Royal Mode, you receive three darts that can be used to create a word, exchange letters, pass or perform other available actions. This gives you more freedom, allows you to plan entire sequences of moves and adds a completely new layer of strategy. Play quick 301 or 501 matches against bots with three difficulty levels. Each opponent has their own profile, playing style, vocabulary and decision-making strategy. Some prefer short and safe words, while others search for longer words, board bonuses or complex crosswords. Stronger opponents plan their checkouts more effectively and take greater advantage of scoring opportunities. Take part in tournaments of increasing prestige, defeat a series of opponents and earn rewards. Each tournament takes you through consecutive stages of the bracket all the way to the final, while your victories are recorded in your player profile. A new Daily Challenge awaits you every day, featuring a specific game mode, opponent and additional objective. You may have to complete the match within a limited number of moves, create a word containing at least five letters, score a required number of points in a single move or finish without going bust. Every player receives one attempt, and your completion time determines your position on the global leaderboard. Play with a friend on one device in Hot Seat mode, or connect two phones through a local Wi-Fi network. In local multiplayer, each player uses their own screen, letter rack and match notifications. Develop your profile, collect statistics and unlock achievements for victories, tournament wins, high scores, long words, board bonuses and exceptional plays. Your progress can be synchronized with Google Play Games, keeping your achievements and Daily Challenge results linked to your player account. Word Darts features an extensive English dictionary. The game tests not only your vocabulary, but also your ability to plan ahead, manage your letters and prepare the perfect checkout to reach exactly zero.
