Store description excerpt

Wireless Bell turns a spare iPad or iPhone into a call bell. No wiring, no installation, no account. Reception systems start at tens of dollars a month, and having an intercom installed runs into the thousands. This replaces both with a device you already own and a small monthly fee. One thing only: when someone presses, the right person finds out — wherever they are. ■ Where people put it ・Beside the till, or on the counter of a salon or small shop ・A back door or delivery entrance with no wiring. Stick a device to the wall and it becomes an intercom ・Kitchen cars and market stalls ・Unstaffed windows and shared offices ・At an older relative's bedside — one press, and their family's iPhone rings ■ One tap, nothing to learn The whole screen is the bell. No menus, no instructions, nothing a visitor has to work out. Phones and messaging apps get harder to use exactly when someone is in a hurry; this asks only that you touch the screen. ■ Notifications where you already work Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, e-mail, or any webhook. Set two destinations and both are notified — "Slack and the owner's inbox" — with no new account anywhere. ■ Or straight to a phone For the many shops that do not run Slack, your own iPhone can be the destination. Pair it by typing the 6-digit code shown on the bell. No sign-up. Staff phones receive for free, and the subscription belongs to the bell, not to each person. ■ Answer without walking over Long-press the notification and choose "On my way" or "Please wait 5 minutes". This exists to remove the worst part of ringing a bell: standing there wondering whether anyone heard. ■ Change your status from wherever you are The same link switches the bell between Open, Back shortly and Closed. There are no opening hours to programme into the device — you change it at the moment you actually step away. ■ The visitor photo is taken in the open Knowing who is there changes whether you drop what you are doing. But this app does not photograph people secretly. A live preview runs on the bell screen so the visitor can see a photo will be taken, the photo is shown back to them afterwards, and the capture sound is never suppressed. It is off by default, and turning it on asks you to confirm you have posted a notice on site. Copies on the device are deleted after 7 days; images in transit after 24 hours. ■ One bell per reason Add up to six buttons — Order, Bill, Delivery, whatever you need. Still one tap. Each button can have its own destination, so at a company entrance deliveries reach the back office while visitors reach the front desk. ■ You can see that it arrived Every press shows its result on screen. If the connection dropped, it is re-sent automatically, and the log tells you afterwards exactly what got through and what did not. No more bells that ring and reach nobody. ■ Settings cannot be tampered with The settings screen is protected by Face ID or Touch ID, so a visitor cannot change the destination or the camera.
