WirDA – Family Close to You WirDA connects seniors and their loved ones in a particularly simple way. With WirDA, families can send messages, pictures, voice messages, video calls, and appointments directly to a senior's tablet. The interface was specially designed for older adults: large buttons, easy-to-read text, and a clear layout ensure that the app can be used without any technical expertise. The Senior's Tablet In standby mode, the tablet clearly displays: • Time • Date • Weather • Appointments As soon as a new message arrives, the message screen appears automatically. Texts can be read aloud if desired, and images can be enlarged with a tap. For Relatives With the relative's mobile phone, you can: ✔ Send text messages ✔ Send photos ✔ Record voice messages ✔ Enter appointments ✔ Start video calls ✔ Connect multiple relatives All messages are automatically synchronized with the senior's tablet. Emergency Call Function An emergency call function can be set up as an option. The senior can request help via a large emergency call button. Family members immediately receive a push notification. If the tablet is equipped with a SIM card, an SMS can also be automatically sent to pre-defined emergency contacts.
