Store description excerpt

"I want to get fit" can wait until Monday. Then next Monday. Then January. A winter arc can't. It has a finish line. Pick 30, 60 or 90 days. Decide who you're becoming. Then get on with it. WHAT IT ACTUALLY DOES Winter Arc takes the four laws of behaviour change from James Clear's Atomic Habits and turns them into things you do, rather than things you read about. Make it obvious. Decide when and where each habit happens, and stack it onto something you already do. "After I pour my coffee, I will..." No relying on remembering. Make it attractive. Pair the thing you should do with something you want to do. Podcast and a walk. Coffee and ten pages. Make it easy. Every habit gets a two-minute version for the bad days. "Read ten pages" becomes "open the book". Something beats nothing. Make it satisfying. Tick it off, watch the chain grow, see the ring move toward your finish line. Your brain likes proof. This gives it some. THE BIT THAT MATTERS Day one to ten is easy. Then it's day seventeen, it's raining, you slept badly, and you can't be bothered. That's the part that decides it. So Winter Arc doesn't punish you for missing. Miss one day and nothing happens. Miss two in a row and it says something, because two is where a habit quietly becomes a former habit. Rest days are built in. You're aiming to get back to it, not to be perfect. IN THE APP A countdown ring: day 37 of 90, always in view Don't-break-the-chain calendar for every habit Streaks, with a never-miss-twice nudge when you slip The 1 percent compounding chart, with your position marked on it A weekly review: what worked, what didn't, one thing to change Streak freezes for planned rest days Reminders at your habit time, plus one evening check An identity statement on your home screen, in case you forget who this is for NO ACCOUNT, NO FEED, NO ADS Everything lives on your phone. There's nothing to sign up for, no server holding your habits, and nobody watching your streak. Delete the app and the data goes with it. Free. All of it. Not affiliated with or endorsed by James Clear. The four laws of behaviour change are his work, from Atomic Habits (2018).
