You own more than you use. So does everyone you know. wimb is a quiet, private place to keep track of the things you're happy to lend and the things you've borrowed, or just to categorise your items. No feed, no strangers, no marketplace. Just you, a few people you trust, and a clear answer to "who's got it?" HOW IT WORKS Make a list of what you own. Camping gear, board games, the stand mixer, a projector, the ladder in the garage, that book you keep recommending. Add a photo, a category, a place where you usually keep it. Your lists stay private until you decide otherwise. When you're ready, share your list with a group - a street, a family, a workshop, a climbing club. Only then can anyone else see what's on it. A list can be shared to multiple groups. Inside a group, everyone can browse what's available and ask to borrow it. You accept or decline. The moment you accept, the item shows as out, with the borrower's name on it, for everyone in that group. Members of other groups will see it as "on a loan". Mark it as returned when it comes back. WHAT YOU GET Lists that stay yours Every item lives on a list you own. Share a list with one group or several - the same drill, visible in your street group and your family group, with one loan history instead of two. Private notes Serial numbers, what you paid, where it's really hidden. Some fields are visible only to you, and stay that way even after you've shared the list. Groups you control Invite people by email, or share a join code. Admins approve anyone who asks to join, so nobody wanders in. A borrow flow that doesn't need a chat thread Request with an optional message. Accept, decline, or withdraw. Everyone sees the same status, updated live. Lend to anyone Someone outside the group asked for the tent? Loan it out to a name you type in, and it's tracked the same way. One screen for everything open Activity gathers requests you've sent, requests waiting on you, join requests to approve, and everything currently out on loan. Notifications that matter A push when someone asks to borrow something, and when your request gets an answer. Nothing else. Quick actions Long-press the icon to add an item, start a list, or jump straight to activity. BUILT TO BE BORING ABOUT YOUR DATA There is no advertising, no tracking, no analytics profile, and nothing is sold to anyone. Access rules live in the database itself rather than in app code, so a group's inventory can't leak to people outside it. Sign in with your email and a six-digit code - there's no password to forget or reuse. Delete your account from inside the app and it's gone, including your items and photos; the screen tells you exactly what goes and what stays before you confirm.
