Store description excerpt
One event. One year. One call: BEFORE or AFTER? Whenly is a daily history game about a skill you didn't know you had — placing moments in time. See an event, see a year, and decide which came first. Simple to start, genuinely hard to finish. TEN QUESTIONS, TIGHTENING Every game is a quick ten-question run. Question 1 gives you centuries of room; by question 10 the gap is a single year and the clock is tight. A miss never ends your run — you always play all ten — but only a perfect run earns the title. The Near-Miss Reveal shows exactly how close you came on a timeline, and tells you one thing worth knowing about what just happened. WHENLY DAILY Ten questions, identical for every player in the world, one attempt a day. Share your emoji grid, build a streak, and climb a global leaderboard that is scored on our servers — not on your phone. THE MUSEUM Every event you place correctly becomes a card in a permanent collection, arranged along your own timeline of history. Rarer events, rarer cards. RACE A TIME TRAVELER Go head-to-head against characters with their own quirks and specialities — or against a ghost of your own best run. EVERY DATE, CHECKED A trivia game is only as good as its facts. All 1,000 events were verified against Wikipedia and Wikidata by an automated pipeline, and every one the pipeline couldn't confirm was researched and resolved by hand. No date ships unchecked. Plays offline. No ads. No account required — you can start playing the second it opens.
