Store description excerpt

Every time you or your family visit the clinic, hospital or pharmacy, your clinician asks, "What medications are you taking?" WhatMeds® makes it quick and easy to access your current medication list and to share it securely with all of your healthcare providers with the use of a QR code from the app on your mobile wallet if you would like. WhatMeds also includes intelligent software tools to inform you about the use of your medications and let you know about possible dangerous drug-drug interactions and other drug safety warning. When you wish to share prescription information with physicians, nurses, other providers or family caregivers, WhatMeds gives you control over which medications to share, with whom, and for how long. It’s easy, safe, and convenient. GREAT FOR MEDICARE BENEFICIARIES WhatMeds has been approved by Medicare to make it easy for Medicare beneficiaries to easily access their medication information, review their medication lists, and share all or just some medications with their clinicians and pharmacists. EASY TO ADD MEDICATIONS via SEARCH WhatMeds makes it easy with just a few taps to add medications from a list of over 80,000 FDA-approved over-the-counter and medicinal products to your list using our app’s search technology. PERSONALIZED SAFETY WARNINGS WhatMeds uses our proprietary AI technology to automatically generate and show safety warnings, best care practices based on well-established care guidelines, and more. This is helpful for both current medications and for medications you were recently prescribed. AVOID MEDICAL ERRORS WhatMeds helps provide the most complete medication information to clinicians, including the exact names of your medications and other important prescription details. By the way, did you know that 50% of individuals over the age of 50 take an average of four or more medications? And 20% of adults over 65 take 10 or more medications. Taking too many medications or having a physician prescribe a medication not knowing what other medications you take can put you at risk of a dangerous adverse drug reaction. THE WHATMEDS GOOGLE WALLET CARD The WhatMeds Google Wallet Card provides a quick way to access your WhatMeds information. This mobile wallet card includes: (i) your medications list and other pertinent information, and (ii) a secure QR code that puts you in control of sharing your medications list with your doctor. KILL THE CLIPBOARD with WHATMEDS! WhatMeds helps you share your medication list or selected medications during clinic visits, telehealth calls, or discussions with family caregivers. WhatMeds creates a virtual handshake between you and the person you choose to share your current medication list with. When you click to share, WhatMeds creates a unique QR code that your provider can scan. To be safe, we will ask for your confirmation via a text message. If you confirm with ‘yes’, your provider will then be able to see the medications – just the ones you shared and only for the
