WebClone follows every link, downloads every page, image, stylesheet, script and font, then rewrites the links so your copy opens in Safari and behaves exactly like the original — with Wi-Fi off, on a plane, or years from now. BUILT FOR WORK THAT OUTLIVES THE PAGE • Developers — freeze a site's real markup and inspect it without the CDN changing underneath you • AI and RAG builders — turn a documentation site into a clean local corpus of plain files • Researchers and journalists — capture a source before it is edited or deleted • Designers — keep a reference with every asset intact • Students — cite something that will still exist at defense time • Travelers — take a wiki, a manual or a guide offline CONTROL THE CRAWL • Depth limit, page limit and a hard cap, so a crawl never runs away • Scope: same host, same domain, or allow subdomains • Include and exclude rules using glob patterns • Filter by type: everything, web assets only, or HTML pages only • Politeness delay and a configurable connection limit • robots.txt respected by default • Tracking parameters stripped, so one page is not saved a thousand times SEE EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED • Live progress: pages, files, errors, speed, elapsed time • A complete file tree of everything saved, with sizes • Quick Look any captured file with the space bar • An activity log with every request, skip and failure • Breakdown by file type and by host YOURS, ON DISK Files land in a normal folder you choose.
