Store description excerpt

Waylet is a personal art journal. Photograph a work, scan the wall label to fill in the title and artist, tag what you felt, write a note if you want to. Over time it becomes a private record of the art you spent time with. It started from something I kept doing in museums. I would stand with a work for a while, take a photo, maybe photograph the label, and then move on. Taking the photo made sense. But looking back, what I cared about wasn't in it. The photo kept the object, not what caught my attention, what I felt, or why I wanted to remember it at all. And buried in my camera roll, even that partial record became hard to return to. I noticed the same impulse all around me: people moved by something, trying to hold on to it somehow, but left with the same ritual. Artwork, label, next room. Waylet is built around that impulse. The simplicity is intentional: it gives your attention somewhere to go without taking over the encounter. - Scan exhibit labels: title, artist, and year fill in on their own - Tag how a piece made you feel, in your words or the presets - Browse everything later by feeling, artist, or date - Free, no accounts, everything stays on your phone
