Wave Expo monitors the power level received by the phone and its use in the various functions (voice calls, data traffic,..). Exposure The power level received by the phone correlates with exposure to radio frequency electromagnetic fields emitted by it. The correlation method was developed within the project "HUMAN EXPOSURE TO RADIO FREQUENCY. STUDY ON THE IMPACT OF CELL PHONE AND ON THE METHODS OF USE OF THE MOBILE PHONE FOR RISK REDUCTION" (https://www.cr.piemonte.it/dwd/pubblicazioni/guide/ARPA_RelFin_ProgTel.pdf), which allowed us to estimate the levels of exposure to radio frequency electromagnetic fields emitted by cell phones in the different modes of use. The exposure was measured using a specially designed experimental system capable of detecting the power transmitted by the mobile phone during voice calls or data traffic. The data collected were the basis for the calculation of an exposure indicator based on the correlation between the detected signal level, the environmental field level and the power emitted by the mobile phone. Conversion SIGNAL POWER<=-90 dBm Exposure HIGH -90 dBm< SIGNAL POWER <= 65 dBm AVERAGE exposure SIGNAL STRENGTH>-65 dBm LOW exposure Method of use The data recorded by the app relates to parameters such as data flow and time of use of the network and apps installed on your device. Specifically, the following data is recorded Internet Connectivity (WiFi, Mobile and Total) • Bytes sent/received • Packets sent/received • Duration of use • Signal quality on a scale from 0 to 4 • Intensity expressed in dBm Hotspots • Active/inactive • Duration of use Bluetooth • Active/inactive • Duration of use NFC • Present • Active/inactive • Duration of use Battery status • If he is in office • If you are charging via USB or AC • Voltage • Level Using APP • Recognition bundle • Last use date • Duration of use • Type (Games, Audio, Video, Social, Maps, Productivity, News, Images) The data is sent daily to a reserved server owned by ARPA Piemonte
