Watia is an outdoor companion app for backpackers and hikers. The app includes: Home — Trail Weather With your permission, Watia uses your location to show nearby weather forecasts. You can also search for a city manually. Weather information is for general planning only and should not be used as the sole basis for outdoor safety decisions. Community Browse public trail posts from other users. You can follow accounts, like posts, leave comments, publish your own posts (photo, title, and caption), and report content that violates community guidelines. Messages After you follow another user, you can open a private chat thread with that user. Sending messages requires an active Trail Pass subscription. Profile Sign in to edit your avatar, nickname, and signature; view your posts; access Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and EULA; and manage account-related settings. In-App Purchases Trail Pass (auto-renewable subscription): Unlocks community posting and messaging. Plans include weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly options. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings after purchase. Gifts (consumable and non-consumable in-app purchases): Optional virtual items that can be sent on posts. Gift purchases are processed through Apple In-App Purchase. Restore Purchases is available for eligible items linked to your Apple ID. Account & Data You can sign out or delete your account from the app. Deleting an account removes associated data stored on this device according to the app’s account deletion flow.
