The passage appears in the context of the whole chapter, as running text with superscript verse numbers the way it is set in a printed Bible — and you read on chapter by chapter without going back to the picker. FEATURES • A random verse from the whole Bible or from 463 key verses • 26 topics — comfort, hope, forgiveness, discipleship and more • Look up by book, chapter and verse • Page on through the chapters, across book boundaries • The last place you read is remembered and offered on the home screen • Change translation without losing your place. Where two editions number their verses differently, the app tells you, instead of quietly showing a different passage • Verse of the day as a complication and in the Smart Stack • Day and night appearance, optionally switching by time of day • Three text sizes, scrolling with the Digital Crown All twelve translations are contained in the app: 66 books, more than 370,000 verses. No server, no account, no iPhone needed — in airplane mode everything works exactly the same. The app collects no data and requests no permissions.
