Wallena makes wallpapers that actually fit your iPhone. Most wallpaper apps hand you one 1080×1920 image and let iOS crop it to your screen. Wallena renders at your device's real resolution and its real 19.5:9 shape, so nothing important gets cut off and nothing looks soft. THE GALLERY IS FREE 203 wallpapers, every one of them free. Open any wallpaper, preview it on a mock lock screen and home screen, save it to Photos. No subscription, no account, no sign-up. DESCRIBE WHAT YOU WANT Type what you're after — "aurora over a black lake", "warm sand gradient" — pick a style, and get a wallpaper made for your screen alone. Seven styles: minimal, gradient, neon, cosmic, nature, aurora, abstract. Three a day, free. LIVE PHOTOS 78 Live Photos in the gallery, and you can turn your own photo or video into one. Three of your own per day. BUILT FOR THE LOCK SCREEN Clean centre, calm zones behind the clock and the home indicator. Wallpapers that survive the widgets sitting on top of them. MY WALLPAPERS Everything you generate stays in the app, so you can save it again later. ABOUT SETTING WALLPAPERS iOS gives no app permission to change your wallpaper. Wallena saves the finished image to Photos and shows you the two steps to set it in Settings. We don't promise one-tap installation, because there is no such thing. ABOUT MOTION Wallena builds a real Live Photo and saves it to Photos, where it always animates. Whether iOS then lets it move on the Lock Screen is the system's decision, and on recent versions it often answers "Motion not available". We can't control that, so we don't promise it. AI AND PRIVACY Wallpaper generation uses OpenAI. Your text prompt goes to our server and then to OpenAI. Nothing else leaves your device: the app never reads your photo library, and your own photos and videos are processed entirely on device. WHAT IT COSTS Nothing. There is no subscription, no in-app purchase and no account. What there is, is a daily limit: three generated wallpapers and three Live Photos per day. Generating an image costs us real money at OpenAI, and a limit is the honest way to keep the app free instead of quietly making it worse. The gallery and saving to Photos are not limited at all — take as many as you like. The counter resets at midnight, your local time. Settings shows how many you have left today.
