Store description excerpt
Tired of pedometers that just show a number? Walk Trip turns every step you take today into forward progress on a virtual road trip across Korea. ■ Walk more, travel further - Your phone's built-in step sensor (TYPE_STEP_COUNTER) tracks your steps automatically, with periodic background syncing so you don't have to keep the app open. - Today's steps become distance on a virtual route, unlocking courses in order: a loop around Hanyangdoseong (18km) → the full Jeju Olle trail (425km) → Seoul-to-Busan cross-country (550km). - Watch your character move along a custom illustrated map as you rack up steps. ■ Reach landmarks, unlock rewards - Arrive at a landmark (city or scenic spot) along the route to unlock an illustrated postcard and a fun fact. - Finish a course to earn a stamp in your personal stamp book. ■ More than a number - a reason to open the app every day - The circular gauge on the Today screen shows your progress toward your daily step goal at a glance, and a streak counter tracks consecutive goal days. - An evening reminder ("You have N steps left today") nudges you to finish strong. - A home screen widget shows today's steps and goal progress without opening the app. - Weekly/monthly step charts help you review your walking habits over time. ■ Ads that never block your steps Unlike many pedometer apps that bury your step count under banners, Walk Trip never places ads over the step gauge on the Today screen. Ads only appear at limited screen-transition points. ■ No account, fully offline No sign-up or login required - just open the app and start. All your records stay on your device, and step tracking and journey progress work fully offline. ■ Who it's for - Anyone who has a pedometer but finds a bare number unmotivating - People who want to build a walking habit - Anyone frustrated by ad-heavy step counter apps - Users who want to track steps without creating an account Start today - walk your way across Korea, one step at a time.
