WaldPfade BW is an interactive nature trail app for Baden-Württemberg. With the new version 2.0, the offering has been expanded to cover the entire state of Baden-Württemberg and will continue to be expanded. New information trails, interesting points of interest, and explanatory landscapes for forest visitors are constantly being added. The app launched with the Climate Change Trail in Waldshut's city forest. Ten stations explain to adults and children how a 15-hectare spruce forest died within two years due to droughts and bark beetles, but also how a new forest adapted to climate change and extreme weather is currently emerging. Information about all stations can be listened to in the app. Further information is available for those who would like to learn more about the background of the station topics. Everything can also be read comfortably at home. In Kids mode, the nature trail mascot, Lina Luchs, explains the stations in child-friendly language and invites visitors to explore and participate on site. At the end of each station, there's a quiz question. Anyone who can answer all of them is a forest pro!
