Volume Power wakes your screen with the volume keys — a simple tool for the moment your power button stops responding. HOW IT WORKS Turn the switch on and leave the app running. While your phone is locked, press a volume key and the screen lights up immediately. No root, no modification, no account required. If your power button is broken, stuck, or simply worn out from years of use, you keep using your phone normally. ONE-TAP SCREEN OFF Lock the screen without touching the power button: tap the running notification, or use the optional floating ball that stays on top of other apps. Both are opt-in, and screen off requires the device admin permission that you grant when prompted. You can switch them off at any time. DAILY WAKE-UP TIMES Set specific times of the day when the screen should light up on its own — handy as a soft morning nudge. If the screen is already on at that moment, it will not wake it again. STATS YOU CAN READ See how long the screen has been on in total and how many wake-ups were recorded today, this week, and overall. The figures are estimated by the app while running in the background; system power-saving policies and background limits can cause small differences, so treat them as a reference, not a promise. BUILT TO STAY OUT OF THE WAY • Start on boot so it keeps working after a restart • No account — settings and stats stay on your device • Lightweight, and effective on Android 7.0 and newer HOW RELIABLY IT WORKS Wake-up runs on Android's standard background service model, so reliability depends on your phone's background policy rather than on the app itself. On most devices a volume key lights the screen instantly. Some manufacturer ROMs pause background apps more aggressively, so after a long time with the screen off a wake-up can take a moment longer or resume only once the service is active again. We refine this in every update, and the main screen shows whether the service is currently enabled so you always know how it is doing.
