Vital helps a bystander act fast when someone may be having a cardiac emergency. Place an Apple Watch on the person's wrist. Vital reads the pulse signal and, if it points to a possible emergency, guides you step by step — entirely through voice and large on-screen buttons, no typing required: - Detects a possible cardiac emergency from the Watch's pulse signal - Opens the emergency call screen automatically (you confirm the call) - Paces chest compressions with an audible and haptic beat, matched to the recommended 100-120 bpm - Tracks your real compression rhythm using the iPhone's accelerometer and gives live pace feedback - Reminds you to switch who's performing compressions every ~2 minutes, since fatigue affects compression quality - Detects if the pulse signal returns to normal (ROSC) and tells you to stop and check breathing - On supported devices, uses on-device Apple Intelligence to help interpret the pulse signal — with an always-available deterministic fallback, so the app works reliably even without it Vital does not replace first-aid training or professional medical care. It's built to support someone acting alone in an emergency, helping them stay on rhythm and know what to do next until professional help arrives. Everything runs on-device. Vital has no servers, no accounts, and does not collect or share your data.
