Store description excerpt

Vireks is a private screen recorder for Android. It records what happens on your screen, writes the result as a standard MP4 file to your device's gallery folder, and stays out of the way. It is a paid utility. The price is €5, paid once via Google Play. There is no subscription. You get five full-quality recordings for free so you can verify it works on your device and your apps before paying. ★ WHAT MAKES VIREKS DIFFERENT — No INTERNET permission. Vireks's Android manifest does not request the INTERNET permission at all. You can inspect the published APK yourself with "aapt dump permissions" and confirm. The app is structurally incapable of opening a network connection. — No ads. There is no advertising SDK in the build. No banner on the home screen, no interstitial after a recording, no upsell modal. — No watermark. Free and paid recordings produce the same MP4. No "Made with…" stamp burned into the video. — No analytics, no crash reporter, no telemetry. The release build does not link to Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Sentry, App Center, AppsFlyer, Adjust, the Facebook SDK, or any ad network. The only third-party library is Google Play Billing for the €5 unlock. — No account. No sign-up, no email asked, no profile. The free-quota counter lives on your device. — EU publisher. Vireks is published by ZADIO EOOD, registered in Bulgaria (European Union). Your statutory rights under the GDPR and the EU Consumer Rights Directive apply by default. ★ HOW IT WORKS 1. Open Vireks and tap "Start recording in 3 seconds". 2. Android shows its mandatory consent dialog. Confirm. 3. Vireks minimises and waits three seconds, so you can navigate to the app you want to record. 4. Use your phone normally. Vireks paints nothing on the screen. 5. To stop, tap the top-right corner. A fully transparent zone catches the tap. 6. The file is saved to DCIM/VireksUserFiles/ as a standard MP4 (H.264 + AAC). Photos, Files, and Gallery pick it up automatically. ★ FEATURES — Records the Android screen, up to 5 minutes per recording. — MP4 (H.264 + AAC) by default. WebM (VP9 + Opus) optional. — Optional microphone audio, off by default. — Storage-aware Start: warns on low free space, refuses when critical. — In-app recordings list: tap to play, long-press to rename or share. — Files saved to DCIM/VireksUserFiles/, visible to any media app. ★ LIMITS WORTH KNOWING — 5-minute cap per recording (longer captures land in Vireks+). — Microphone-only audio in v1. — No editor (use any third-party editor, or wait for Vireks Studio). — Apps marked FLAG_SECURE (banks, streaming, password managers) appear as black frames in any screen recorder, including Vireks. Android enforces this; no non-system app can bypass it. — The "Display over other apps" special access is mandatory: the corner-tap Stop affordance lives in a transparent overlay window, and Android requires that permission before any app can host such a window. ★ THE VIREKS FAMILY Vireks is the first of three app
