Villa Borromeo D’Adda is a free application, available for iOS and Android systems created by Rataplan snc for the Municipality of Arcore (MI). By downloading the App, you can discover the history and curiosities of Villa Borromeo D’Adda, reopened to the public in 2018 after two years of careful restoration, by selecting the preferred mode: Augmented Reality and audio guide. To use the contents of Augmented Reality, simply position yourself at the appropriate signs along the tour route and frame the visual elements (objects, prints or architectural details) in front of you with your smartphone. Once the App has been downloaded, the contents of the audio guide can be listened to again at any time, even at the end of the visit. Rataplan snc develops solutions and contents to merge digital technologies, culture and communication in an effective and surprising way. He designs interactive installations, virtual environments, Augmented Reality applications and applications for the use of multimedia content, connecting places and people in an amplified physical space and inviting the public to take concrete actions to give voice to otherwise silent objects, animating them with a simple but conscious gesture.
