We built Vibe Shield because we were tired of ads slipping through -- the ones that dodge generic filter lists, the cookie walls that rebuild themselves, the tracking scripts that hide behind first-party domains. If it interrupts your browsing, we want it gone. Vibe Shield is a free Safari ad blocker for iOS and macOS that combines network-level blocking with CSS element hiding and anti-adblock countermeasures. That means fewer blank spaces where ads used to be, fewer "please disable your ad blocker" nag screens, and fewer trackers phoning home in the background. BLOCKS WHAT OTHERS MISS - Ads -- Banner ads, video ads, pop-unders, and ad network scripts including stubborn ones that evade standard filter lists - Trackers -- Analytics, fingerprinting, and cross-site tracking scripts that follow you around the web - Annoyances -- Cookie consent banners, newsletter popups, nag screens, and anti-adblock walls that try to guilt you into disabling protection - Social Widgets -- Share buttons, like buttons, and social media embeds that track you even when you don't click them Our blocking rules are actively maintained as ad networks evolve -- so you don't have to think about it. CUSTOMIZE YOUR PROTECTION Toggle each category on or off to dial in exactly the level of blocking you want. Changes take effect on the next page load -- no app restart needed. WHITELIST SITES YOU TRUST Some sites depend on ads to survive and deserve your support. Add them to your whitelist and Vibe Shield steps aside completely on those domains. Easy to add, easy to remove. PRIVACY FIRST No accounts. No profiles. No ad tech. Your browsing stays on your device -- the extension blocks through Safari's declarativeNetRequest API and never sends page content anywhere. One exception, stated plainly: on iPhone and iPad, the app sends a random ID generated on your device each time you open it, so we can count how many people use Vibe Shield. It isn't linked to you, your Apple Account, or anything you browse, and the Mac app sends nothing at all. We don't know what sites you visit. We don't want to.
