The official App of the project "Vias Animae - Le strade ritrovate" will take you on a wonderful journey to discover the National Park of Casentino Forests, Monte Falterona and Campigna. The Park was established in 1993 and covers an area of 36,000 hectares in the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines, between the provinces of Forlì-Cesena, Arezzo and Florence. With the routes of Vias Animae you can experience unique emotions among ancient forests, breathtaking views and ancient villages, along more than 260 km of trails, where history, art and nature live together as if time had never passed. The App accompanies you step by step along the 16 routes present, describing the way to follow, the difficulties and the duration...but it doesn't stop there! In "Vias Animae" you will find many suggestions on places to visit. Museums, Art Galleries, Churches or Ancient Villages: whether you are passionate about science, art or history you can choose the route according to what interests you most! In the App you will also find advice on Tourist Services: according to the route taken, you can choose between a quick break in a Bivouac, a stay in a Hotel or B&B, or a moment of well-deserved refreshment and thus make your experience even more special!
