Store description excerpt
VetList is a veterinary drug reference built for practising vets — dosing you can trust, in the time you actually have between patients. Search 578 drugs by generic or brand name, or filter by animal type, therapeutic class and indication. Every drug is laid out the way a clinician reads it, with dosing given separately for each species you treat: dogs, cats, pocket pets, avian, reptile, ruminant and swine. WHAT'S IN EVERY DRUG ENTRY • Generic and trade names • Therapeutic class and major indication • Indication for each animal type • Dose, route, frequency and duration • Dose precautions and references • Precautions, adverse effects and overdose • Drug interactions • Reproductive and nursing safety CLINICAL CALCULATORS Work out the numbers without leaving the drug you are reading: • Constant rate infusion (CRI) • Fluid therapy and crystalloid shock dose • Blood transfusion volume • Body surface area for chemotherapy • Daily calorie requirement • Concentration and unit conversions • Dog and cat age conversion REFERENCE TABLES Normal laboratory values by species, for when you need the range and not a search engine. A COMMUNITY OF VERIFIED VETS Ask about a case, share what worked, and read what colleagues have run into. Posting is limited to veterinarians who have verified their licence, so the answers come from people who treat animals for a living. Browse and read freely; verify when you want to contribute. You can report any post and block any member from the post itself. Your own posts and replies can be deleted at any time, and your account — including your uploaded identity documents — can be deleted from Settings or from the web. VETERINARY NEWS Articles and updates relevant to clinical practice. WHO IT IS FOR Veterinarians, veterinary students and veterinary technicians. The drug reference is open to everyone; contributing to the community requires a verified veterinary licence. IMPORTANT VetList is a professional reference tool. It supports clinical judgement — it does not replace it. Always confirm dosing against the product label and the patient in front of you. Not intended for pet owners to self-medicate animals.
