This app is based on the fourth, revised Dutch edition which again is a translation of the sixth American pressure. The app provides a structured classification of nursing diagnoses and interventions. The main features of the NIC are: • completeness: more than 550 interventions, of which 23 are completely new and 133 revised interventions; • evidence based; • developed from the existing practice; • reflects current clinical practice and recent research; • clear and clinically meaningful terminology; • tested in the field; • combined with the NANDA diagnoses (2012-2014 NANDA-I). Nursing interventions contributes to adequate education in clinical decision making. The app provides standardization and definition of the knowledge necessary for nursing education and nursing practice. It is also instrumental in the development of curricula that respond better result in practice. Nursing interventions is primarily intended for nurses. They can make a choice with this app from possible interventions. In addition, the app can be a tool for communicating with other health care treatments.
