Store description excerpt

Verdant Canon is an offline archive for classical Chinese books, historical plant names, editions, and collection records on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It is not a medical, diagnostic, medication, or health-management app. The independent developer has no medical, pharmaceutical, or clinical credentials, and the product does not claim medical review. What you can do • Browse classical books, plant names, historical aliases, editions, and collection records offline • Search locally by name, pinyin, original title, source, and precise locator • Inspect sources, editions, volume or page locators, accession numbers, and rights records • Follow bibliographic and cataloguing relationships across the archive • Study complete record sections and compare works, editions, names, and formula catalogues offline • Keep favorites, recent reading, and personal notes on your device • Export your personal archive or clear private local data in Settings The interface is available in English, French, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. English is the primary language of the overseas store listing. Classical titles, botanical names, source records, and some catalog content remain in Chinese or their original language so that they can be checked against the cited source. This release does not claim that every archive entry has been translated. Free and permanent access The free download includes all titles, categories, search, summaries, source and rights information, plus five complete representative entries. One non-consumable purchase, Complete Archive, permanently unlocks the remaining full sections, expanded source and edition ledger, historical formula catalogue, and relationship graph. It is not a subscription and does not renew. Favorites, notes, and personal archive import or export do not require a purchase. The price and currency shown in the app come from the App Store. Historical formula records are bibliographic catalogues only. They show names, traceable source records, and component names, without quantities, directions, claimed effects, or recommendations. Traceable content and rights • Published material is linked to a specific source, edition, and locator • Public-domain and open-license decisions are recorded for each specific work and edition • Protected database content or substitute datasets are not scraped or bundled • Modern explanations are independently written and linked to their sources • Every catalogue record retains its source, edition, locator, and rights status Offline and private Core features need no account or sign-in.
