Venrun turns your everyday walk or run into a conquest. Run a loop - any loop, anywhere - and the ground you enclosed becomes yours. The moment your route closes, you see it happen: the map fills in, in your color, before you've stopped running. WHAT COUNTS AS A CONQUEST Only closed loops. Distance earns you nothing and neither does pace — a slow two-kilometer loop around three blocks takes ground that a fast twenty-kilometer out-and-back never will. Venrun rewards where you run, not how hard. HOLD WHAT YOU TOOK Territory softens if you leave it alone, and eventually slips away. Run through it again and it hardens. Ground you've covered over and over becomes your heartland: other runners can push into it, but they can't simply take it from you. NEIGHBORS The map is shared. When another runner claims ground near yours, you hear about it. When one of their loops cuts into your territory, you know. You never see anyone's route - only the ground they hold. LANDMARKS Parks, bridges, monuments and stations carry titles. Hold the ground around one and the title is yours, along with a record of how long you kept it. BRING YOUR HISTORY Already have runs in Apple Health? Import them and claim ground you covered weeks ago. New workouts import on their own after that. NO SCOREBOARD, NOTHING TO BUY There are no points to grind, no subscription and no purchases. What you have is ground, and the only way to get more is to go outside and run around it. — Venrun needs your location while you record a run, including in the background, so your route keeps recording with the phone in your pocket and the screen locked.
