Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Devasthanam, was started in 2007 and run by a non-profit organization “VEDA” (Vedic Education and Devotional Academy). In a short span of over 3 years, we purchased a permanent building for the temple at Milpitas and began operations on the auspicious day of 3rd July, 2010. Since the beginning of the temple at the new premises, we have organized various Hindu religious activities like Festivals, Vedic rituals, spiritual and cultural events. We conduct group Satynarayana Vratams at our temple on every Full-moon day. All Hindu religious festivals are celebrated and large number of devotees participate regularly. The highlight event of last year was Samuhika Satyanarayana Swamy vratam performed by Annavaram priests by bringing the divine idols from Annaavaram, A.P, India. This event was a huge success with large participation of devotees with a great enthusiasm and bhakti from all parts of the Bay area.
