Some walks ask more of you than they should. Late. Alone. A little too far from the door. Valkyrie is there for those walks — a calm companion so the people who love you can have peace of mind, and you don’t have to walk alone. You choose who knows. You choose how long. When you’re ready, you share a private live map for your walk until you get where you’re going. They can see that you’re still moving, still okay. How a walk feels Set a time that matches the journey. Add the people you trust. Start when you’re ready. Along the way you can check in with them to let them know that you’re okay, or send a short note. If the time runs out without you sealing the walk, they’re asked to pay attention. You always decide what actually gets sent — Valkyrie never texts your contacts for you. If you want a quieter path, the map can offer a little awareness of the area, including notes from other walkers. Valkyrie is not emergency services. If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number. On iPhone and iPad, location can continue during an active walk while the phone is locked or you switch apps — so the people you shared with can still see you’re on your way. Tracking is meant to stop when you seal the walk or force-quit the app. “Always” location is only on until the walk is sealed closed by you.
