VAGUA is a boat when you need one. You tell us where you're leaving from and where you're going. A skipper accepts, you see their boat approaching on the map, and you hop on board. The price is displayed before you confirm, and it won't change. BOOK IN A FEW STEPS Choose your departure dock and destination, indicate how many of you are in your party, and leave as soon as possible or at a time that suits you. You can view the map and fares without creating an account. SEE THE BOAT ARRIVE Once your trip is accepted, you can track the boat live on the map, with an estimated arrival time. No more scanning the horizon wondering if someone is coming. PAY AFTERWARDS, NOT BEFORE When you book, your card is simply authorized: the amount is held, nothing is charged. The charge only occurs once the crossing is completed. If the ride doesn't take place, the booking is released and nothing appears on your statement. CONTACT THE SKIPPER If you're having trouble finding a dock, you're five minutes late, or you're at the wrong dock, contact them directly from the app. GOOD TO KNOW VAGUA connects passengers with water taxi operators. The ride is sold and provided by the operator in the area, under their responsibility, using their own boats and professional skippers. Coverage depends on the operators present in each area and expands with them. If no boat is currently serving your bay, the app will tell you upfront and offer to notify you when one becomes available—rather than leaving you waiting for a boat that won't come. YOUR LOCATION IS NOT A HISTORY Your location is used to pinpoint your position on the map and track your current ride. No history of your movements is kept.
