Turn your Android phone into a live monitor for a USB endoscope camera, a borescope or any UVC webcam. Plug the probe into your USB-C or micro-USB port, allow access, and the picture appears straight away. No Wi-Fi, no pairing, no account. USB Scope Viewer reads the stream directly from the connected USB camera, so you see the probe's own resolution and its own focus rather than a crop from the phone lens. GETTING STARTED 1. Connect the probe to your phone, through an OTG adapter if your port is not USB-C. 2. Tap Allow when Android asks for permission to use the USB device. 3. The live picture opens on its own. Nothing to configure, nothing to pair. WHAT YOU CAN INSPECT Engine bays, cylinders and gearboxes. Drains, pipes and sink traps. Wall cavities, ducts and crawl spaces. Circuit boards and solder joints. Locks, mechanisms and machinery. Anywhere an inspection camera fits but your eye does not. WHAT LITE GIVES YOU, AT NO COST • Plug-and-play with UVC USB cameras over OTG, with no driver to install • Live preview straight from the probe, up to 640 × 480 • Rotation of the live view: 0°, 90°, 180°, 270° • 2x digital zoom • Dark interface designed for inspection work in low light • Immersive mode that clears the controls out of the way on its own • Portrait and landscape, switched automatically • The screen stays awake while the app is open WHAT PRO ADDS Lite is a viewer: it shows you the live feed. Recording anything, and tuning how the image looks, is what Pro is for. One purchase, no subscription, no recurring charge: • JPEG photo capture, from the on-screen shutter or the volume button • MP4 video recording, with no length limit • Every resolution the probe reports, 720p and 1080p included • Camera settings: brightness, contrast, saturation, manual focus, autofocus • Image settings: horizontal mirror, alignment grid, rotation at startup • Capture settings: photo format, shutter sound, destination folder • 4x digital zoom COMPATIBILITY USB Scope Viewer works with standard UVC (USB Video Class) hardware: endoscope and borescope probes, inspection cameras, digital microscopes and USB webcams. Your phone or tablet has to support USB OTG (On-The-Go), and some probes need a powered or correctly wired OTG adapter. IF THE PICTURE DOES NOT APPEAR • Check that your phone supports USB OTG. A fair number of entry-level models do not. • Wi-Fi probes are not USB devices and cannot work here. This app needs a wired UVC camera. • A long or unpowered adapter often fails to carry enough current for a probe with LEDs. Try a shorter cable, or a powered adapter. • Unplug the probe, plug it back in, and accept the Android permission dialogue. PRIVACY Your video and your photos stay on your phone. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account to create, and the inspection itself works with no network connection at all. This app shows the feed from a USB camera you connect. It does not use the camera built into your phone.
