Store description excerpt

Every other untangle game lets the lines slide through each other. This one doesn't. In Untangle: Night Sky the ropes are physical. They are solid to the touch, they have real slack, and pulling one star drags its neighbours along like a knotted necklace. You cannot shove a star through a rope — you have to work the knot loose the way you would in your hands: find the gap, go around it, or slip underneath. Drag the stars until no two ropes cross. The constellation lights up. DEPTH IS REAL A rope lying over all of your star's ropes lets the star dive under it. A rope lying under them lets it slide over. A rope sandwiched between them is a wall. Reading that depth is how you find the way through. TWENTY SKIES, THEN NO END Twenty hand-paced levels teach the rope, then Polaris — a star pinned to the sky that never moves — and then the Iron Chain, a rope that nothing can pass. Clear all twenty and the Star Field opens: endless, procedurally generated constellations that keep on growing. ALWAYS SOLVABLE Every board is made by tangling a solved constellation with legal moves, and no level ships until the game's own solver can finish it. When you are stuck, a hint shows the star to move, the route to take, and where it lands — and it only ever suggests a move that genuinely works. QUIET BY DESIGN No ads. No purchases. No account. No timers, no lives, no energy meter. It plays entirely offline. Just you, a tangle of rope, and a sky waiting to light up.
