Store description excerpt

Enter what the shelf says. Three cans of 12 oz. Four jars of 40 oz. A two pound bag. Type the price, how many are in the pack and the size of each — multi-packs and cases go in whole, and the pack count goes into the maths. Compare more than two. Add as many items as the aisle has. Nothing is capped and nothing is held back. 21 units in five groups. Grams, kilograms, ounces and pounds. Millilitres, litres, fluid ounces, cups, pints, quarts and gallons. Centimetres, metres, inches, feet and yards. Count, sheet and load. Dry and fluid ounces stay apart. They are different measures. An app that mixes them gives you a wrong answer, not a rough one, so this one keeps them in separate groups and refuses a comparison that crosses them — and it tells you which two groups clashed. The cheapest one is named at the top. Not buried under the form. The winner sits above the list with how much cheaper it is than the next one, and the answer reads the same in black and white as it does in colour. It answers in the unit you used. You typed ounces, so it says per ounce. The conversion happens underneath. Every row keeps the shelf notation. 3 x 12 oz stays on the row, so you can check it against the label without opening anything. No prices come from anywhere. There is no price database and no networking code in this app at all. You type what you see, which is why it works the same in every country and with no connection.
