UL Packer is a gear weight management app for hikers who practice ultralight packing. The heart of ultralight packing is minimizing your base weight. This app lets you register the weight of each gear item and select what you're bringing, so you can calculate your base weight accurately. ■ Four weight metrics at a glance Mark any item as "worn" or "consumable," and the app automatically calculates each of the standard UL metrics. ・Base weight (excludes consumables and worn items — the key number for going lighter) ・Consumables (water, food, fuel — what you use up along the way) ・Worn weight (what you wear on the trail and don't carry) ・Pack weight / Skin out weight ■ See where the weight is A chart breaks down your load by category, so you can spot exactly where to cut. ■ Save and revisit your gear lists Save each list with a name, date, and notes.
