It is intended primarily for deaf and hard of hearing users. The speech recognition application does not use an internet connection. Application usage options: • bring your phone or tablet closer to the TV and you will see the text of the speech displayed • prints out the text of the recognized speech when you are talking to others • helps with following presentations/lectures The application was developed within the framework of Obstino - Society for the Development of Assistive Technology. The application was tested in cooperation with the Society of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing of Podravje. **Privacy and permissions:** The application only requires permission to access the device's microphone to function. The application recognizes speech using a machine learning model that is part of the application. The sound captured by the application is NOT stored.
