Uchikake turns a familiar household budget spreadsheet into a simple app. Duplicate a month, carry over recurring expenses, and close the month when you're done. The workflow stays familiar, while recording an expense takes only a few seconds. WHY IT STICKS • Save with just an amount. Categories, memos, and dates are all optional • Open the app and start recording right away • Add entries for past or future dates The biggest reason budgets are abandoned is that entering them is a chore. Uchikake has no required fields, so you can keep going. ONE BUDGET FOR EVERYONE • Invite family members with a QR code or a link • Everyone records entries in the same budget • Emoji icons show who added each entry Use it with a partner, family, or housemates. See what has already been paid without sending another message. RECURRING EXPENSES, READY TO GO Add rent, insurance, subscriptions, savings, and other recurring expenses to a monthly template. They are added together when you start a new month. SEE WHERE YOUR MONEY GOES Tap a category to see its entries. Search by amount or memo, and review monthly and yearly trends. CLOSE EACH MONTH Mark a month as closed when you're done. Closed months are clearly marked, but editing and reopening are still possible if you need to fix something later. LOG ENTRIES WITH AI Issue an API token for your group. Ask your AI assistant to add today's lunch, and it can write the entry directly to your budget. The in-app API documentation explains how to get started. FREE FEATURES Recording, group sharing, category summaries, templates, closing months, and API integration are all free. The Analytics tab also includes yearly balances and monthly charts for free.
