Store description excerpt
Most apps want something from you — often on the very days when there is least energy to give. Übrig runs the other way. You tap a single dot only on the evenings when something was still there: something you wanted to do, not something you had to. On every other day, nothing happens. No reminding, no asking, no judgment. The empty days are not the gap. They are the result. Übrig is a German word for what is left over — what was left of the day. You tap from the lock screen or the widget, and never have to open the app to do it. You can take the dot back the same evening; after that it stays. What Übrig shows No daily notes, no calendar. A quiet look back instead: how many evenings something was still left, as a density over time. You can mark a change in your life — a new job, a move, a change of season — and see it before and after. Alongside it, a plain month-by-month comparison. A number that stays put A past evening cannot be tapped in after the fact; the app prevents it by design. So over months a number builds that no one has rounded up in their favor — unlike a mood diary. You can share it as a short record: the span of time, the count, the method, without any single day. First for yourself — a record of your own that no one can change later. And, if you like, to show it: at a doctor's appointment or to an employer. Who it is for For days when there is little energy. For people living with conditions like chronic fatigue, Long Covid, ME/CFS, ADHD or autism, for the spoonie community, and for the stretch after an illness. Ordinary trackers count streaks and mark the day you missed. Übrig holds on to when something was there, and leaves the rest alone. Optional and quiet Everything beyond the dot is up to you. Under the evenings, a faint line of sleep, heart rate variability and resting heart rate can run along — only for context, it feeds into no number (HRV and resting heart rate need an Apple Watch). Your evenings can be kept in your own iCloud and saved as a file to keep yourself. English and German, light and dark. The price The download is free, and everything is open for 90 days. After that, recording stays free forever. Only the look back — the analysis — is a one-time purchase, never a subscription. If you don't buy it, you keep collecting, and you can unlock any time, without a gap opening up. Übrig promises quiet and keeps it. It simply lies there, for the evening when something is left again.
