Version 1.3.0 adds a "Why can't I see my TV?" button that runs 7 checks: • Whether the phone is on Wi‑Fi or mobile data • Whether a VPN is on (a VPN cuts the path to devices in your house) • Which IP address and subnet you are on • Whether you are on 2.4 or 5 GHz — most TVs only join 2.4 • Whether the network lets devices see each other at all • Whether that specific TV's control port is open • The limits no app can work around The trick nobody else uses: count EVERY device that answers on the network, routers included. Nothing answers means the network is blocking device-to-device traffic (guest network, client isolation). Devices answer but none is a TV means the network is fine and the TV is the problem. Those need two completely different fixes, and the app says which one you are in. Any check it cannot read says "couldn't read this" instead of guessing. 🎮 A COMPLETE REMOTE • Power, volume, mute, channel up and down • D-pad with OK, plus Home, Back, Menu and media keys • Number pad to jump straight to a channel • Touchpad — swipe to move, tap to select • Type on the TV with your phone keyboard, no arrow-key pecking • Dropped connection?
