It shows the progress of turnaround activities and predicts when ground handling will be finished. It can be used during day-to-day operations in multiple ways: - It helps ground handlers allocate people and equipment and set accurate and realistic Target Off-Block Times (TOBT). In turn, this helps other people in operations. For instance, air traffic controllers, who base their take-off planning on TOBT. - Gate planners benefit by knowing when gates will become available for incoming flights. This helps them optimise their planning.
