Store description excerpt

Truly Simple Inventory was built to help you track the things you own. Whether you’re a homeowner documenting belongings for insurance purposes, a renter keeping track of personal gear, a collector bringing order to your hoard, or just someone trying to remember all those serial numbers and warranty dates, this app gives you a reliable, easy-to-use record of your possessions. It's designed to be calm, practical, and highly functional. You can easily record where each item is kept in your house, what it cost, its serial number, and safely store photos of receipts and PDFs of user manuals. There's a one-time, lifetime in-app purchase that allows for an unlimited number of items and unlocks the export tools, but you can add up to 10 items and use all the core features for free, forever. Features: • Organize items by location (Living Room, Garage, Office, etc.) and drag them between rooms. • Full item records: easily log name, make, model, serial number, and purchase price. • Attach photos of the item, along with its receipt and user manual. • Set warranty expiration dates and get automatic alerts before they run out. • Maintenance logs: track service history, dates, costs, and notes (great for appliance repairs or oil changes). • Generate an "Insurance Report" export—a clean PDF grouped by location specifically designed for home insurance claims (CSV and general PDF exports also available). • Use your camera to automatically scan and read serial numbers. • Data syncs automatically across all your Apple devices via iCloud.
